2',6'-DiMethylcarbonylphenyl-10-sulfopropylacridiniuM-9-carboxylate 4'-NHS Ester
NSP-DMAE-NHS is a type of chemical substance that can be used as a chemiluminescent marker. In alkaline H2O2 solution, when the molecules of acridine ester are attacked by hydrogen peroxide ions, the substituents on the acridine ring can form an unstable dioxane with C-9 on the acridine ring and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide). This dioxane decomposes into CO2 and electronically excited N-methyl acridone

Application:
As a chemiluminescent agent for direct chemiluminescent immunoassays, used for the detection and analysis of antigens, antibodies, proteins, etc. During the detection and analysis process, no additional catalysts are required. NSP-DMAE-NHS is oxidized by H2O2 in an alkaline medium, producing an electro-excited N-(3-sulfopropyl) acridone through an intermediate diketone, which releases photons at 430nm when returning to the ground state.
