2-Phenoxyethanol is an aromatic, slow-evaporating glycol ether.
Can be used in dyeing synthetic fibers, both as d dye solubilizer and as a dye carrier.
An efficient coalescing agent could be used in cosmetics and cleaning products. and it effective in the formulation of homogeneous, stable metalworking fluids.
